Three for the Books: Featured Reads in Christian Fiction, June 2015

Three for the Books, June 2015

The monthly “Three for the Books” post is where I feature new (Hot Off the Presses), best selling (Topping the Charts), and award winning (Cream of the Crop) Christian fiction books. I select one title to feature in each category, as well as providing links to where you can browse additional newly released, best selling, and award winning titles. Have you read any of these featured titles? Any others you’d like to give a shout-out? Comments are always welcome!

Since June is Audiobook Month, I specifically selected featured titles for the month that are also available as audiobooks. Happy reading… or listening! :)

Hot Off the Presses

Murder Freshly Baked by Vannetta Chapman releases this month from Zondervan. It’s Book 3 in the Amish Village Mystery series. The audio edition is produced by Oasis Audio.

Topping the Charts

A Harvest of Hope by Lauraine Snelling appears on the CBA’s June 2015 Best Sellers list for Romance, in this case, historical romance. It’s second in the Song of Blessing series (which begins with To Everything a Season). Print and electronic copies are available from Bethany House and audio is available from Recorded Books.

Cream of the Crop

Barefoot Summer by Denise Hunter won the 2014 INSPY Award in the Contemporary Romance category, and sounds like a great choice for summertime reading. It’s Book 1 in the author’s Chapel Springs series and it’s available from Thomas Nelson and Brilliance Audio.
