Three for the Books: Featured Reads in Christian Fiction, September 2015

Three for the Books, September 2015

The monthly “Three for the Books” post is where I feature new (Hot Off the Presses), best selling (Topping the Charts), and award winning (Cream of the Crop) Christian fiction books. I select one title to feature in each category, as well as providing links to where you can browse additional newly released, best selling, and award winning titles. Have you read any of these featured titles? Any others you’d like to give a shout-out? Comments are always welcome!

Hot Off the Presses

The Methuselah Project by Rick Barry releases this month from Kregel Publications. It’s a suspense novel, set partly during WWII and partly in the present.

  1. Great choices this month. I love Lisa Harris; she is a must read author for me. I have The Methuselah Project in the queue for next month; an interesting premise. I read War Room in August and finally got to see it in the theater last weekend. I like that Fabry expanded on the characters. He added more backstory than the movie was able to provide. An excellent job for the novelization.

Thanks so much for this monthly feature. It’s a great way to get the word out about the wonderful Christian books available.

  2. Thanks, Beckie! I love hearing your thoughts on these posts. :) I went and looked up your review of War Room because I missed it first time around. Sounds really good! And I’m looking forward to hearing your thoughts on the Methuselah Project.

  3. Thanks for sharing these, Karen. I’ve already read The Methuselah Project several times. I would comment, but I’m totally biased. Right now I’m interested in checking out The War Room. What I’ve heard about that one really captivates me!
